Onyx is a large 1-year-old black cat who's looking to be your best friend! With his round eyes and surprised expressions, this charismatic guy loves people and wants to be the center of attention. He chats constantly with a creaky little meow to let you know he’s nearby. He loves being glued to your lap and purrs happily for all the pets you're willing to give. He enjoys being picked up and kissed on the head, delighting in the spotlight. Curious and smart, he often opens cabinets and doors to explore hidden places. He does great with kids and large dogs. He gets along well with friendly cats but would also thrive as an only cat. Food motivated, Onyx will need his food proportioned to maintain a healthy weight. He has previously had a urinary obstruction from which he has fully recovered. To prevent a recurrence, he requires a prescription kibble, which he absolutely loves. It is ideal he takes anti anxiety meds during times of extreme stress (moving, house renovation, etc) as well. He has great litterbox habits.
